Who We Are
Juliana Ament Juliana Ament, PT, MOMT, OCS
Julie Ament is the owner of the clinic and has been practicing physical therapy in North Pole since 1995. She has a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in Philadelphia and has been practicing since 1990. She earned an Advanced Masters in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute in 1999 (MOMT). Julie is Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy (OCS). She specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation with a focus on manual therapy and medical exercise therapy.

In her spare time Julie likes to garden, fish, camp, bike, skijor and enjoys the Alaskan outdoors. She is a supporter of Nanook Hockey and a fan of the Seattle Seahawks.

George Salmon
George Salmon, PT
George Salmon graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Masters of Science in physical therapy in 1993. George has completed advanced Residency training on orthopedic manual physical therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute. He specializes in treating orthopedic injuries using his skill in manual therapy soft tissue and joint mobilization as well as exercise therapy. George also has additional training in ergonomics assessment, and strength and conditioning. George is well known in the Fairbanks skijoring community and is a long time resident with his bachelor’s degree in physical education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1990.
 
Tim Huber
Tim Huber, PT
is a 2002 graduate of the University of Montana with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Tim also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Deign from the University of Washington. Tim has an eclectic approach to physical therapy intervention with skills in orthopedics as well excelling in working with pediatric and neurologic patients. Tim is also a personal advocate for health and fitness and is active in local running events and frequent winter user of the University and Birch hill ski trails. Tim is also a long time Fairbanks resident.
 
Jane Chaffee

Jane Chaffee, BEd. and MEd
Our office manager, Jane Chaffee, joined our staff in 2004 after teaching for 23 years. She has lived in the North Pole area since 1977 and enjoys spending time visiting her children in the lower forty-eight. She and her husband are supporters of Nanook hockey and college basketball.
