Who We Are
Juliana Ament Juliana Ament, PT, MOMT, OCS
Julie Ament is the owner of the clinic and has been practicing physical therapy in North Pole since 1995. She has a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in Philadelphia and has been practicing since 1990. She earned an Advanced Masters in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute in 1999 (MOMT). Julie is Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy (OCS). She specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation with a focus on manual therapy and medical exercise therapy.

In her spare time Julie likes to garden, fish, camp, bike, skijor and enjoys the Alaskan outdoors. She is a supporter of Nanook Hockey and a fan of the Seattle Seahawks.

George Salmon
George Salmon, PT
George Salmon graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Masters of Science in physical therapy in 1993. George has completed advanced Residency training on orthopedic manual physical therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute. He specializes in treating orthopedic injuries using his skill in manual therapy soft tissue and joint mobilization as well as exercise therapy. George also has additional training in ergonomics assessment, and strength and conditioning. George is well known in the Fairbanks skijoring community and is a long time resident with his bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1990.

Lori Grubbs, PT, DPT
Lori Grubbs, PT, DPT
Lori Grubbs graduated from Arcadia University in Philadelphia, PA in 2010 with a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Prior to graduate school, Lori worked as a wellness manager in an outpatient therapy clinic designing land and aquatic based exercise programs and classes. She also developed seminars for community education in health and wellness topics utilizing her undergraduate education in Health Promotion and Education earned at University of Georgia (She's a Bulldog and proud of it!).

Outside of work, Lori enjoys road and mountain biking, telemark skiing, yoga and pilates, fishing and pretty much any other outdoor fun! Lori's energetic and optimistic attitude makes physical therapy fun.

Vicki  Readnour, PT


Vicki Readnour, PT
Vicki has a specialization in pediatric physical therapy and is filling in at North Pole Physical Therapy during school breaks and is available for pediatric consultation for our pediatric cases. Vicki is our color in the clinic. She thinks outside of the box and is able to offer insight and experience in a variety of physical therapy areas in addition to pediatrics.

Sonya Bowery
Sonya Bowery is our office manager . She has been working in the medical field for over 16 years. Her knowledge, determination, and organizational skills keep the office running smoothly. Sonya and her family moved to Alaska in 2002. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
 
Betty Vinson

Betty Vinson
Betty Vinson, one of our Southern Belles, is a receptionist in our office. She has more than 25 years of administrative and professional office experience. Originally from Tennessee, she is quickly falling in love with Alaska. Her faith and life experiences have made her optimistic, giving her a sense of humor and eagerness to laugh. A few of her favorite past times are family, the outdoors, and doing God's handy work.
 
Ginger Tobin

Ginger Tobin is a receptionist in our office. She has been with our office since 2009. She enjoys the personal interaction with our patients being a long time resident of North Pole. Her kindness makes the patients feel welcome. She coaches basketball for NPMS. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting and reading.
 
Renae Marshall


Renae Marshall
Renae Marshall is a receptionist in our office. She graduated from NPHS in 2010. She is currently studying nursing at UAF. She enjoys many outdoor activities, especially kayaking and snowboarding. She likes to spend time with family and friends. Her personality brings much joy to our office.
